At Oriental Expression we import and retail Chinese furniture from stock as well as bespoke furniture made to order.  Visit our  Cambridgeshire store close to the M11 and Duxford air museum to view the outstanding quality and sample Classic Oriental Furniture in the flesh.

With elegant artistic lines displaying the beauty and texture of natural wood, Chinese rosewood furniture  has long been celebrated for it’s contribution to the Oriental art form, ranging from clean classic lines to magnificent carving and fine mother of pearl inlay. Oriental furniture is still hand crafted and polished to perfection from Solid Rosewood and other timbers including Blackwood ‘Ji Chi’ wood and ash. Rosewood, also known as ‘Hua Li Mu’ brings a luxurious feeling of warmth and quality to both traditional and contemporary settings.

With long experience of manufacturing furniture in China we know that the same designs are available for lower prices, but inferior craftsmanship & all round quality make this difficult to accept as a craftsman. We all hear of problems experienced by people when buying from an image over the internet with prices which appear to be attractive, but the end product is disappointing.  Why take the risk when we stock furniture which you can see ‘in the flesh’  and take away, come and visit us to see what you are buying. We also hold an additional 40’ container of stock to take away, with regular shipments arriving to replenish this.

By shipping in container quantities we avoid damage and as a long established importer now in our 25th year of commissioning furniture, (small tables through to custom made bedrooms, studies and dining rooms) our good connections  and experience allow us to consistently produce outstanding results and reliable quality, offering a personal service with a constantly changing display of Oriental Furniture and lamps at our Cambridge store.

To enjoy long lasting quality and the beauty of solid wood we use kiln dried rosewood, ash and a range of traditional timbers artistically worked by the most accomplished of craftsmen. We also manufacture in Western and contemporary styles allowing you to personalise each item or even create your own bespoke designs.
