At last the sideboard has been delivered on Wednesday, after some strange misunderstandings over collection and then time of delivery. All is well that ends well. The sideboard is truly beautiful and we are delighted with how it compliments our dining table and chairs.

My daughter and her family are thrilled. For Christmas (and their birthdays!) they are now the proud owners of two fabulous pairs of Chinese lamps. The lamps are big, with good glazes, colours and designs.

A very good price for big table lamps (made from 15-18 inch Chinese vases), with shades included. The shades are cotton, but suit the lamps well and don't look cheap. They can upgrade to silk shades at a later date if they want to!

Over the last 20 years or so we have purchased a great deal of rosewood furniture from Oriental Expression ranging from nests of tables to an eight piece dining room suite and have always been delighted. Everyone who has seen the furniture has always admired the quality. We were amazed to find that the drawers were polished not only outside but also inside and underneath. There is no cheap pine or plywood anywhere in the furniture supplied by Oriental Expression just the same high quality hardwood throughout.

Our latest acquisition is a new round table and six chairs in Ash and a very unusual display cabinet, in which we were able to have a say in the design, it is fantastic. We recommend anyone who wants to buy new furniture to visit Oriental Expression first, you will be delighted.

We ordered a bespoke Hi-Fi cabinet with carvings of birds and flowers on the doors. The cabinet that finally arrived far exceeded our expectations in terms of build quality and how well it matched the rest of our furniture.

Access to cable management slots at the rear is far better than the usual couple of circular holes. All shelves could be moved in small enough increments that all equipment fitted beautifully. And the remote controls work without the need for magic eye repeaters.

Communications with Rob were first class and made the process about as pleasurable as waiting for a container shipment from China can be.
